ScratchID was originally created to make it easier for developers moving beyond Scratch to integrate Scratch account authentication into their own services.
However, with the rise of AI-assisted software development, the traditional path of gradually learning foundational technologies before building projects has changed.
We are reconsidering whether ScratchID is still truly needed by today’s developers.
